Role Description The Country Manager – India will lead DB Investing’s market presence and operations in India, with a primary focus on business growth, brand positioning, and regulatory alignment. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves developing and executing market entry and expansion strategies, building local partnerships, and overseeing sales and marketing initiatives. The Country Manager will manage and mentor cross-functional teams, monitor performance against revenue and client acquisition targets, and ensure excellent client service and support. The role also includes coordinating with global leadership, aligning local activities with corporate objectives, and staying up to date with India’s financial, regulatory, and fintech landscape. The successful candidate will represent DB Investing at industry events and act as a key spokesperson for the brand in the Indian market.
Qualifications
- Strong background in business development, sales leadership, and market expansion within financial services, fintech, or multi-asset trading.
- Proven experience in country or regional management, including strategic planning, P&L oversight, and team leadership.
- Solid understanding of investments, trading platforms, and digital assets, with the ability to communicate complex financial products clearly.
- Familiarity with the Indian regulatory environment for financial services and comfort working with compliance and legal teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with partners and institutional clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, make data-informed decisions, and drive execution against clear KPIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is an advantage.
- Prior experience in managing teams in Bengaluru or broader India markets and exposure to international or cross-cultural work environments.
- Fluency in English;
