This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and commercial proposals for clinical supply chain projects, in collaboration with operations, project management, and finance teams. Day-to-day activities include analyzing client requirements, identifying cost drivers, preparing detailed budgets, and drafting proposal documents that align with organizational standards and client expectations. The executive will review historical data and vendor quotations, maintain pricing databases, and support negotiation processes by providing clear cost breakdowns and scenario analyses. Additional responsibilities include tracking proposal status, updating internal stakeholders, supporting bid responses and RFPs, and contributing to process improvements in costing and proposal development.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, including proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Experience in proposal writing, commercial documentation, and preparing client-facing cost summaries.
- Familiarity with clinical trials, pharmaceutical or healthcare operations, or supply chain management (experience in clinical supply chain is a plus).
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and productivity tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word) and comfort working with databases or pricing tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
