Role Description The MEP Quantity Surveyor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works, ensuring accurate measurement and documentation of all project quantities. The MEP Quantity Surveyor will support cost planning and budgeting, monitor project expenditures, and assist in cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Daily tasks include analyzing drawings and specifications, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams, and preparing cost reports and forecasts for management review. The role also includes participation in tender preparation, evaluation of contractor claims, and support for value engineering and commercial risk management.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and quantity take-off for MEP works.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cost Planning and Cost Management to support budgeting and financial control.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cost Control and Cost Reporting to monitor expenditures and prepare regular financial updates.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
- Experience in MEP quantity surveying within industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects, preferably in sectors such as warehouses, data centers, pharma, or IT facilities.
- Proficiency in relevant QS software and MS Excel, with strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Good understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes, and basic legal/commercial terms.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary site teams.
