About Us
Zetta WATT Private Limited is a fast-growing startup building advanced motor winding machines and automation solutions for EV, drone, and motor manufacturing industries. We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Controls Engineer to design, program, integrate, and troubleshoot industrial automation and control systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems
• Develop and modify HMI screens according to machine requirements
• Configure and commission servo motors, servo drives, VFDs, sensors, and other automation components
• Prepare and review electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and I/O lists
• Support control panel wiring, machine integration, testing, and commissioning
• Perform PLC–HMI communication setup and industrial network configuration
• Troubleshoot electrical, programming, communication, and motion-control issues
• Coordinate with mechanical design, electrical wiring, assembly, and production teams
• Conduct machine trials and optimize machine sequences, cycle times, and performance
• Support machine installation, commissioning, and servicing at customer locations
• Prepare and maintain program backups, technical documentation, operating manuals, and service reports
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety and machine-control standards
• Travel to customer locations when required
Required Skills
• Hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Experience in HMI programming and screen development
• Knowledge of servo motors, servo drives, VFDs, sensors, relays, and industrial control components
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Understanding of control panel design, I/O allocation, and electrical integration
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, or Profinet
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
• Experience in industrial machinery, automation systems, or machine-building companies
• Experience in motion control and multi-axis servo applications
• Knowledge of Delta, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff, or similar PLC platforms
• Experience in machine commissioning and customer-site support
• Exposure to motor winding machines, special-purpose machines, or EV manufacturing equipment will be an added advantage
