Key Responsibilities

Develop & Execute the Contract Manufacturing Strategy for Specialty Chemicals.
Build & Manage a Strong Network of Strategic Manufacturing Partners.
Identify, Evaluate & Onboard Contract / Toll / Custom Manufacturing Partners.
Lead Technical, Commercial, Quality, EHS & Financial due Diligence.
Drive Commercial Negotiations, Costing, Margins & long-term Manufacturing Agreements.
Lead Technology Transfer, Scale-up & Commercialisation of New Products.
Ensure Capacity Availability, Supply Continuity, On Time In Full Delivery & Cost Optimisation.
Drive Partner Performance on Quality, Yield, Productivity, EHS & Compliance.
Work Closely With R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, & Business Development Teams.
Develop Strategic Partnerships, Alliances & Potential Joint Ventures With Manufacturing Partners.
Support Global Customer Requirements, Audits & Technical Evaluations.
Build Contract Manufacturing into a Scalable, Profitable & Asset-light Growth Platform.

Candidate Profile

A Chemical / Mechanical Engineer with about 10-15 years of experience in Specialty Chemicals / Fine Chemicals / Performance Chemicals / Chemical Intermediates.
Strong Experience in Contract Manufacturing / Toll Manufacturing / Custom Manufacturing / External Manufacturing.
Strong Techno-Commercial understanding of Chemical Manufacturing.
Proven Experience in Partner Identification, Qualification & Management.
Strong Negotiation, Commercial & Stakeholder Management Skills.
Experience in Technology Transfer, Scale-Up & New Product Commercialisation.
Exposure to Global Customers / International Markets Preferred.
Strong Understanding of Quality, EHS & Regulatory Requirements.
Entrepreneurial Mindset with the Ability to Build & Scale a Business.
