Content Manager (Social, influencer and in house content Production)
Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Work from office
Employment Type: Full-time
Collaboration: Works closely with the Brand, Creative, Marketing, E-commerce, Influencer
and Monrow Studio teams.
About Monrow
We create stylish, comfortable footwear designed specifically for Indian feet. As we continue
to grow, content is becoming one of the biggest engines through which we build the
Monrow brand.
We are looking for a Content Manager who can take complete ownership of this engine.
This is a highly hands-on role. You will be involved in everything from finding the idea →
planning the shoot → getting the right people → shooting → editing → publishing → analyzing
performance → improving the next piece of content.
If you enjoy creating things rather than just managing people who create them, this role is
for you.
What You Will Own:
1. Social Media - End to End
● Own Monrow's social media content calendar and execution.
● Plan, create, shoot, edit and publish content across Instagram and other relevant
platforms.
● Develop a strong mix of Reels, carousels, static posts, Stories and other social-first
formats.
● Identify trends, formats, hooks, conversations and content opportunities relevant to
Monrow.
● Understand what makes content work on social media and continuously experiment
with new formats.
● Write captions, hooks, scripts and briefs wherever required.
● Monitor content performance and use data and learnings to improve future content.
● Ensure consistent quality, frequency and brand consistency across all social content.
2. Overall Brand Content
Own Monrow's broader content ecosystem beyond social media, including:
● Brand and campaign content
● SEO / GSO content
● Website content
● Influencer and creator content
● Product and launch content
● Fashion and lifestyle content
● Content for marketing campaigns and other brand initiatives
You will be expected to think beyond individual posts and understand how different content
pieces work together to build the Monrow brand.
You should also be able to identify opportunities where one shoot or content idea can be
repurposed across multiple channels and content formats.
3. Monrow Studio - End-to-End Ownership
Monrow Studio is our in-house content studio, and you will be responsible for making it
a high-output content engine for the brand.
You will own the entire studio content cycle, including:
● Planning the studio's content calendar and shooting schedule.
● Identifying what content needs to be produced based on launches, campaigns, social
requirements and brand priorities.
● Scouting and coordinating with models, creators and influencers for shoots.
● Developing shoot concepts, references, shot lists, scripts and content requirements.
● Coordinating with photographers, videographers, stylists, creators and internal teams.
● Being present on shoot days and ensuring that the shoot runs smoothly.
● Ensuring that all required shots and content assets are captured.
● Managing the post-production and editing pipeline.
● Organizing and maintaining the content produced from the studio.
● Ensuring content is delivered on time and is actually deployed across the relevant
channels.
● Continuously improving the studio's output, processes and quality.
You should be comfortable being the person responsible for making things happen on shoot
day, rather than simply handing over a brief and waiting for the output.
4. Content Production
This is a hands-on content role.
You should be comfortable:
● Shooting videos and photographs using a smartphone.
● Creating social-first videos independently.
● Understanding framing, composition, lighting, camera movement and visual
storytelling.
● Editing short-form videos for social media.
● Using tools such as CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro, Canva or equivalent.
● Creating content that feels native to social media rather than simply looking like an
advertisement.
● Directing people on camera and getting the required performance/content from
them.
● Being comfortable appearing on camera yourself when required for content creation.
You don't necessarily need to be a professional photographer or videographer. But you must
have a strong understanding of how good social content is shot and produced.
5. Influencer & Creator Content
● Identify creators and influencers who are relevant to Monrow's target audience.
● Support creator scouting, outreach and coordination.
● Develop content briefs and ensure creators understand the objective and brand
direction.
● Coordinate content production and timelines.
● Review creator content before it goes live.
● Build learnings around what creator formats, personalities and content styles work for
Monrow.
● Maintain a consistent pipeline of creator-led content.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Have Skills
● Excellent command of English - written and spoken.
● Strong understanding of social media and what makes content work (at least 1-2 year of experience)
● Ability to independently plan and produce 30–50+ pieces of content every month
across social media, Monrow Studio, influencer content and other content engines.
● Strong visual and creative instinct.
● Good knowledge of shooting and editing videos and photographs on a smartphone.
● Ability to write strong hooks, captions, scripts and content briefs.
● Strong understanding of short-form video and social-first storytelling.
● Comfortable working with models, creators, influencers and other talent.
● Strong project management and coordination skills.
● Ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
● Basic understanding of content analytics and the ability to turn performance data
into actionable learnings.
● Strong understanding of fashion, lifestyle, social media and digital culture.
The Most Important Skill: Ownership
We are looking for someone with a Brand Owner mentality.
You should be someone who:
● Doesn't wait to be told what to do.
● Spots content opportunities proactively.
● Takes an idea from thought to execution.
● Figures things out when resources are limited.
● Takes responsibility for the final output, not just their part of the process.
● Cares about whether the content actually works, not just whether it was posted.
● Can look at something and say, "This isn't good enough. Let's make it better."
● Understands that working in a growing brand means sometimes doing things
outside a conventional job description.
Candidate Preference:
Monrow is a women's footwear brand, and this role involves hands-on fashion and lifestyle
content creation, including working with and directing on-camera talent and, where
relevant, appearing in content us.
Being closely connected to the consumer, product and visual world we are creating is
therefore valuable for this role.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means building a consistent, high-quality and high-output content
engine for Monrow. At the end of every month, we should be able to see:
More content → Better content → Stronger brand presence → Better learnings → Better content
again.
You will ultimately become one of the key owners of how Monrow looks, sounds and shows
up on the internet.
This role is NOT for someone who:
● Only wants to make content calendars.
● Wants to outsource all production.
● Is uncomfortable getting hands-on with shooting and editing.
● Needs detailed instructions for every task.
● Looks at content purely as a checklist of posts.
● Isn't comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
This role is for someone who:
Sees something → Gets an idea → Makes it happen.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
