About Electric Miles
Electric Miles is a UK-based SaaS company building smart EV charging and grid-flexibility software. We licence our platform to charger manufacturers (OEMs), charge point operators and fleet operators, helping them deliver smarter, cheaper and greener charging to their customers. Our products include emPACT (charge point management for CPOs), SmartFlex (grid flexibility services) and EVoptix, our direct-to-driver platform where EV owners buy chargers, subscribe to smart charging, and earn from flexibility services.
We are a small, fast-moving team. You will have real ownership from day one and your work will be visible to the whole company, including our customers and investors.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on marketer who can make content and make it perform. You will own our presence across LinkedIn, Meta and TikTok, produce short-form video in-house, and run paid campaigns that do two jobs: generate qualified B2B pipeline, and drive direct EV driver sales and subscriptions on EVoptix.
This is a builder role, not a manager role. You will be shooting, editing, writing, scheduling, launching campaigns and reading the numbers yourself.
What You Will Do
Content & video
- Produce short-form video end to end: concept, script, shoot, edit, subtitle, publish
- Turn product releases, customer stories, and founder commentary into content people actually watch
- Build a repeatable content engine so we publish consistently, not sporadically
- Maintain brand consistency across everything we put out
Social media
- Own the day-to-day on LinkedIn (primary B2B channel), Meta and TikTok
- Run the founder's and company's LinkedIn presence, including thought-leadership drafting
- Build and manage a content calendar aligned to product, sales and event cycles
- Engage, respond and grow followers and inbound interest
Performance marketing
- Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns on LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Own budget allocation, audience targeting, creative testing and bid strategy
- Build and test landing pages, forms and conversion paths
- Run lifecycle and nurture email campaigns through HubSpot
EVoptix: driving direct sales and subscriptions
- Own demand generation for EV charger sales and smart charging subscriptions on the EVoptix platform
- Build and optimise the full D2C funnel: ad, landing page, product page, checkout, onboarding
- Improve conversion rate, average order value and subscription attach rate on charger sales
- Run retention, win-back and referral campaigns to reduce churn and grow recurring revenue
- Work with product on pricing presentation, offers, promotions and seasonal campaigns
Smart charging and flexibility adoption campaign
- Play a lead role in a major campaign to grow EV driver adoption of smart charging and flexibility services
- Translate a technical proposition (tariff optimisation, off-peak charging, grid flexibility earnings) into simple, compelling creative that drivers understand and act on
- Build driver education content: explainers, savings calculators, testimonials, how-to videos
- Design and run activation journeys that move registered users into active smart charging and enrolled flexibility participation
- Partner with OEMs, energy suppliers and CPOs on co-marketing where relevant
Sales support and GTM collaboration
- Work closely with the RevOps Analyst and GTM Engineer to make sure marketing activity feeds a clean, well-tracked pipeline
- Produce sales enablement assets: pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, demo videos, proposal collateral
- Build creative and messaging for outbound sequences and ABM campaigns targeting OEMs, CPOs and fleet operators
- Support event, webinar and conference activity end to end, from promotion through to follow-up
- Keep HubSpot lifecycle stages, campaign attribution and UTM discipline accurate alongside RevOps
- Feed campaign learnings back into targeting, list building and sequence design with the GTM Engineer
Measurement
- Report weekly on CAC, CPL, CTR, conversion rate, MQL to SQL, and pipeline contribution
- Track D2C metrics: charger units sold, subscription sign-ups, churn, LTV to CAC ratio
- Track adoption metrics: smart charging activation rate and flexibility enrolment rate
- Build dashboards in HubSpot, GA4 and Mixpanel and use them to decide what to do next
- Run structured A/B tests on creative, copy and audiences
What You Will Bring
Essential
- 2+ years in performance marketing, with direct hands-on ownership of paid campaigns and budgets
- Demonstrable ability to shoot and edit video: a portfolio or showreel is required
- Proven publishing experience across Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Strong written English and the ability to write clear, sharp copy for a technical B2B audience
- Comfort with editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or equivalent) and design tools (Canva, Figma)
- Experience running consumer-facing campaigns that drive a purchase, sign-up or subscription, not just awareness
- Comfortable working alongside sales and RevOps, and disciplined about CRM hygiene, campaign tracking and attribution
- Analytical mindset: you can build a report, read it, and change your plan because of it
- Self-starter who can operate with limited direction in a small team
Desirable
- B2B SaaS marketing experience alongside D2C or e-commerce experience
- Subscription growth experience: activation, retention, churn reduction, referral
- Familiarity with e-commerce and checkout funnels, and conversion rate optimisation
- Interest or experience in EV, energy, cleantech or mobility
- HubSpot experience or certification
- Exposure to ABM, outbound sequencing or prospecting tools such as Clay and Outreach
- SEO and content-led growth experience
- Motion graphics and basic sound design
- Confident use of AI tools to speed up production and research
What Success Looks Like
First 30 days: Content calendar live, channels audited, first videos published, existing campaign performance benchmarked.
First 90 days: Consistent publishing cadence across all three channels, paid campaigns running for both B2B pipeline and EVoptix charger and subscription sales, reporting dashboard in place.
First 6 months: Demonstrable growth in followers, engagement and inbound enquiries, an improving cost per qualified lead, a measurable lift in EVoptix charger sales and subscription conversion, and the smart charging and flexibility adoption campaign live with adoption rates trending up.
