Role Description The Consultant Doctor role at Guduchi Ayurveda Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Mysore. The Consultant Doctor will provide comprehensive Ayurvedic consultations, assess patient history, diagnose conditions, and design individualized treatment plans rooted in classical Ayurvedic principles. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, adjusting therapies and medications, educating patients on lifestyle and dietary modifications, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also involves collaborating with other practitioners, contributing to continuous improvement of treatment protocols, and providing feedback on product effectiveness for ongoing refinement. The Consultant Doctor is expected to uphold ethical clinical practices and support a patient-centered, holistic approach to long-term health and wellness.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Ayurvedic medicine, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and holistic care approaches.
- Ability to conduct detailed patient consultations, document medical history, and maintain precise clinical records.
- Skills in patient education, including guidance on lifestyle, diet, and preventive health aligned with Ayurvedic principles.
- Competence in monitoring treatment outcomes, managing chronic conditions, and adjusting therapies based on patient response.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and long-term relationships with diverse patient groups.
- Commitment to evidence-informed practice, ethical standards, and continuous professional learning in Ayurveda.
- Relevant medical qualification in Ayurveda (e.g., BAMS or equivalent) from a recognized institution; valid registration with appropriate medical council.
- Prior clinical experience in an Ayurvedic hospital or clinic setting; experience with proprietary Ayurvedic formulations is an advantage.
