Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine Operator role at ALT Lights is a full-time, hybrid position based in Kumbalgudu, Bengaluru, with some flexibility for work from home as appropriate. The CNC Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to produce lighting components according to specifications and production schedules. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools, loading materials, and adjusting machine settings to maintain accuracy and efficiency. The role involves performing routine inspections, measuring finished parts, documenting production data, and collaborating with the quality control team to ensure components meet safety and quality standards. The CNC Machine Operator will also help maintain equipment, troubleshoot basic mechanical issues, and follow all workplace safety and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling for CNC equipment.
- Experience in Machining and Milling for precision component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Quality Control processes, including measurement, inspection, and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming parameters and machine setup is an advantage.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, manufacturing, or related fields preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work in a production environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with production and quality teams.
