Role Description The HP MJF Machine Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D printers on-site at the Mumbai facility in a full-time capacity. Daily activities include preparing print files, loading and unloading materials, setting up build jobs, and overseeing print runs to ensure accuracy and consistent quality. The role involves performing routine machine maintenance, cleaning and calibration, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime. The operator will inspect printed parts, perform post-processing tasks such as depowdering and finishing, and ensure that production schedules and quality standards are met. Collaboration with the design and production teams, adherence to safety protocols, and proper documentation of jobs and machine status are key aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Experience with 3D printing technologies, preferably HP Multi Jet Fusion, including machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CAD files, build preparation, and familiarity with common 3D printing file formats and workflows.
- Strong attention to detail for quality inspection, measurement, and post-processing of printed parts.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and production schedules in a manufacturing or workshop environment.
- Basic mechanical and technical aptitude for equipment maintenance, calibration, and handling of materials.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with design, production, and customer service teams.
- Prior experience in additive manufacturing, industrial production, or related fields is preferred.
- Relevant technical diploma, engineering degree, or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing or 3D printing.
