Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Injection Molding Operator role based in Coimbatore. The Injection Molding Operator will set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines to produce reusable food containers according to production schedules and specifications. Responsibilities include adjusting machine settings, handling injection processes, performing routine checks, and inspecting finished products to meet quality standards. The role also involves performing basic preventive maintenance on machines, reporting any equipment issues, following safety procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The operator will collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and Injection Molding for plastics manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and product inspection to ensure adherence to standards.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Injections, including managing molding cycles and material flow.
- Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to keep machines in safe and reliable working condition.
- Basic technical or vocational training in mechanical, manufacturing, or related fields is beneficial.
- Previous experience as an injection molding operator or in a plastics production environment is preferred.
- Ability to follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to work in a team-based environment.
