Horizon Renewable Power is a rooftop solar player with over 10+ years in the sector, currently projects under execution of 72MW+ across Delhi NCR, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand. We're empaneled under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and are now scaling our residential rooftop business as our primary growth engine, building on existing project track record. We're bootstrapped and growing fast — this role will have real ownership from day one, not a slot in a large existing team.
We are looking for a qualified Company Secretary to manage the Company’s corporate secretarial, ROC/MCA, legal, regulatory and compliance functions. The role will involve end-to-end handling of statutory compliances, corporate actions, legal drafting and vetting, trademark matters, regulatory registrations and coordination with various internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013, MCA/ROC compliances, corporate governance, legal documentation and regulatory requirements, along with excellent drafting and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable rules, regulations and secretarial standards.
- Handle ROC/MCA filings and other statutory filings, as applicable.
- Maintain and update all statutory registers, records, minutes books, registers and corporate documents.
- Draft, review and vet agreements, contracts, undertakings, declarations, affidavits, letters, notices, resolutions, legal documents and other corporate documents.
- Review commercial and legal documents to ensure appropriate legal and compliance protection for the Company.
- Identify key legal/compliance risks and coordinate with management
- Maintain records of executed agreements and other legal documents
- Handle trademark registration and related matters, including applications, renewals, examination reports, objections and hearings.
- Coordinate and assist in obtaining and maintaining registrations, licences, approvals, permissions and certificates required for the Company’s business.
- Maintain records of all regulatory registrations and ensure timely renewals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification: Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from ICSI.
- LL.B. / Bachelor’s degree in law will be an added advantage.
- Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience
- Experience in the renewable energy/power sector will be an added advantage.
Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
