Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Company Secretary role based in New Delhi. The Company Secretary will oversee corporate governance and statutory compliance, ensuring that all filings, licenses, and registrations are completed accurately and on time. Daily responsibilities include preparing and maintaining statutory records, drafting board and committee agendas, minutes, and resolutions, and coordinating with regulatory authorities and external advisors. The role also involves advising management on legal and regulatory requirements, monitoring changes in corporate and securities laws, and implementing necessary compliance processes. The Company Secretary will collaborate closely with internal teams to support transaction advisory projects, streamline documentation, and uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification as Company Secretary (CS) with 0 to 2 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, secretarial standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to transactions, licenses, and registrations.
- Experience in drafting minutes, resolutions, agreements, and other corporate documents, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines, maintain organized records, and implement structured governance processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret regulations and provide clear, actionable guidance to leadership.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact with board members, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools and compliance or documentation management software.
- Prior experience in advisory, consulting, or corporate secretarial roles within professional services or corporate environments is preferred.
