Role Description
The Communicative English cum Softskill Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based at Edwin Academy in Kozhikode. The trainer will conduct interactive classroom sessions focused on communicative English, presentation skills, workplace etiquette, and overall personality development. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans, preparing training materials, delivering lectures, facilitating group activities, and providing individual feedback to learners. The trainer will assess learner progress, organize practice sessions such as role-plays and mock interviews, and collaborate with other faculty members to align training with the academy’s career-focused objectives. The role also involves maintaining training records and supporting learners in improving language proficiency and professional behavior for better employability.
Requirements
2 year of strong
- command of Communicative English, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills.
- 2 years Experience in soft skills training, covering areas such as communication, presentation skills, teamwork, and professional etiquette.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions using interactive methods, real-time activities, and practical examples.
- Excellent classroom management, mentoring, and counseling skills to support learners with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Communication, or a related field; a teaching or training certification is an added advantage.
- Prior experience as a language trainer, soft skills trainer, or corporate trainer, preferably in an academic or professional training environment.
- Comfort with basic digital tools for creating presentations, learning materials, and maintaining learner progress reports.
- Positive attitude, patience, and a learner-centered approach with a commitment to helping learners become job-ready.
