Role Description The Freelance Soft Skills Trainer at Commune ET is a part time, on-site role across Kerala. The trainer will design and deliver interactive soft skills and communication modules for students and professionals, including sessions on resume building, LinkedIn optimisation, Interview preparation, Mock GD,interpersonal skills, presentation skills, teamwork, and workplace readiness. The responsibilities include planning session content, facilitating classroom and workshop-style interactive training, assessing participant performance through activities and evaluations, and providing constructive feedback. The trainer will collaborate with the Commune ET team to align training outcomes with client expectations, maintain training records, and adapt content to different batches and audience levels. The role also involves continuous improvement of training materials, attending internal review meetings, and upholding the collective’s quality standards in every engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong soft skills training capabilities, including communication skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and public speaking.
- Experience delivering employability and placement readiness programs, focusing on interview preparation, resume building, and workplace etiquette.
- Ability to design and facilitate interactive workshops, using group activities, role plays, and case studies to engage diverse learner groups.
- Competence in classroom management, learner assessment, and providing clear, constructive feedback to participants.
- Excellent spoken and written English; proficiency in relevant local languages (e.g., Malayalam) is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience as a trainer or educator in academic institutions or corporate settings, preferably in soft skills or behavioral training.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, psychology, HR, or communication is an advantage.
- Certification in training, facilitation, or related domains is a plus, along with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Kozhikode, with flexibility to handle multiple batches and varied schedules.
