The Role
This role is for a Commercial Operations Associate based in India. This role will report into the VP, Commercial Operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, has a keen eye for accuracy and wants to build a strong foundation in commercial operations within a fast-paced, collaborative business.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our commercial data, supporting the systems, processes, and reporting that enable business leaders to make informed decisions. The work you do will have a direct impact across the organisation, making this a highly visible and valued position within the team.
Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you'll gain exposure to how commercial data flows across the business, how operational processes support growth, and how technology and automation can improve efficiency. You'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple teams, developing both your technical and business knowledge along the way.
This role is ideal for someone at the early stages of their career who is looking to combine strong administrative and analytical skills with an interest in systems, data management, and process improvement.
The role itself will involve a range of activities including:
- Accurately input, maintain, and update commercial data across internal systems, databases, spreadsheets, and business tools.
- Ensure commercial records are complete, accurate, and up to date, identifying and resolving discrepancies where required.
- Perform regular data quality checks and audits to maintain the integrity and reliability of information.
- Support the administration and ongoing maintenance of Paprika and other commercial systems.
- Assist in tracking commercial updates and ensuring information is captured consistently across platforms.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Finance, Commercial, and operational teams to support business requirements and reporting needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
- Support the aggregation, cleansing, validation, and preparation of data for system uploads and reporting.
- Utilise automation tools and technologies, including Python, Power Query, Alteryx, or similar solutions, to streamline manual processes and improve data workflows.
- Assist with ad hoc commercial, reporting, and administrative projects as required.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data quality.
- Comfortable working with high volumes of data while maintaining a high standard of work.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filtering, lookups, and data cleansing techniques.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to identify improvements and take ownership of tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different teams.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable experience using data automation and transformation tools, including Python, Power Query, Alteryx, or similar technologies
- An analytical and problem-solving approach, coupled with a methodical and detail-focused way of working
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
