Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commerce Graduate based at the Thane manufacturing facility. The role involves supporting finance and accounts operations, including basic bookkeeping, invoice processing, vendor and customer account reconciliation, and assisting with tax and compliance documentation. The Commerce Graduate will help prepare financial reports, maintain organized records for audits, and coordinate with internal departments on cost tracking and budgeting. Day-to-day tasks include data entry in accounting systems, monitoring payments and receipts, and supporting the commercial team with documentation related to imports, exports, and statutory requirements. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information for decision-making and smooth commercial operations.
Qualifications
- Commerce degree (B.Com or equivalent) with foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic familiarity with accounting or ERP software; comfort with handling numerical data and financial documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized records for audits and compliance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of commercial operations related to invoicing, vendor and customer accounts, and import/export documentation is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Thane, manage time efficiently, and adapt to a manufacturing and export-oriented environment.
- Prior internship or experience in accounts, finance, or commercial departments within manufacturing or engineering companies is a plus.
