Role Description The Co-Founder role at Country Veggie is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. This role involves overseeing daily operations across sourcing, logistics, and distribution, ensuring timely and efficient movement of fresh produce from farmers to business customers. The Co-Founder will help define and execute the company’s growth strategy, including expanding the customer base, building partnerships with farmers, and optimizing supply chain processes. Responsibilities include leading sales and marketing initiatives, managing key client relationships, analyzing performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement in service quality and delivery timelines. The Co-Founder will also collaborate on fundraising, budgeting, team building, and establishing a strong organizational culture aligned with the company’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, optimize operations, and support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills for working with farmers, internal teams, and business customers.
- Proven experience in sales and business development, ideally in logistics, agribusiness, or B2B services.
- Marketing and brand-building skills to promote Country Veggie’s value proposition and grow market presence.
- Research skills to assess market trends, identify new opportunities, and understand customer needs.
- Experience in supply chain management, operations, or agri logistics is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and willingness to work on the ground with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, logistics, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
