Role Description The CNC Engineer role at Ansiom Technologies is a full-time, on-site position based in Jodhpur. The CNC Engineer will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include creating and optimizing CNC programs, selecting appropriate tools and fixtures, performing test runs, and adjusting machine parameters to maintain quality and efficiency. The role involves inspecting finished parts, troubleshooting machining issues, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining accurate production records. Collaboration with design, production, and quality teams is required to improve processes, reduce defects, and meet delivery timelines while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation, setup, and tooling, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience in CNC programming (e.g., G-code), CAM software usage, and optimization of machining parameters for productivity and quality.
- Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and quality inspection procedures to ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerance compliance.
- Understanding of machining processes, materials (metals, alloys, etc.), cutting speeds, feeds, and best practices for tool life and surface finish.
- Problem-solving abilities for diagnosing machine, process, or program issues and implementing corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Ability to work safely in a workshop environment, follow standard operating procedures, and maintain clean, organized workstations.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to coordinate with cross-functional teams and meet production deadlines.
- Prior experience in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment in an industrial setting is highly beneficial.
