Role Description The Clinical Audiologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for delivering high-quality audiology and hearing care services. The role includes conducting comprehensive audiological assessments, advanced diagnostic tests, and hearing evaluations for patients across age groups. The Clinical Audiologist will recommend, fit, program, and verify hearing aids and assistive listening devices, and provide aural rehabilitation and counseling to patients and families. The role involves collaborating with speech therapists and other clinical professionals, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to evidence-based protocols and structured care pathways. The Clinical Audiologist will also participate in patient education, follow-up care, and quality improvement initiatives aligned with Resonnocare’s standards of excellence.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Audiology, including comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Hearing Aid Dispensing, including selection, fitting, programming, and verification of hearing devices.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Aural Rehabilitation, focusing on counseling, listening training, and long-term hearing care support.
- Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in Speech and Speech Therapy, particularly in coordinating care with speech-language interventions.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Audiology or Speech and Hearing, with relevant professional registration or licensure as required.
- Ability to work in a structured, protocol-driven clinical environment while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills, with the capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with modern audiology equipment, diagnostic tools, and digital hearing technologies; prior clinical experience in hospital or clinic settings is an advantage.
