Role Description : This is a full-time, on-site Clinical Audiologist role based in Bengaluru. The Clinical Audiologist will perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, impedance testing, and other diagnostic procedures. Responsibilities include fitting and dispensing hearing aids, programming and fine-tuning devices, and providing ongoing follow-up and after-care services. The role involves delivering aural rehabilitation and basic speech-related counseling to customers and families, educating them on hearing health, device use, and maintenance. The Clinical Audiologist will document clinical findings, maintain accurate records, collaborate with clinic staff and management, and uphold high standards of patient care and professional ethics.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in Audiology, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of hearing disorders.
- Experience with Hearing Aid Dispensing, including selection, fitting, programming, verification, and patient counseling.
- Knowledge of Speech and Speech Therapy principles to support communication outcomes for individuals with hearing loss.
- Competence in Aural Rehabilitation, including auditory training, communication strategies, and family education.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Comfort working with diagnostic equipment and hearing aid technologies from leading brands.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team and manage time and caseload effectively.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development in hearing care.
