Role Description The Clinical Audiologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting hearing assessments, interpreting audiological test results, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role involves fitting, programming, and verifying hearing aids and related devices, as well as providing counseling and education to clients and families on hearing health and communication strategies. The Clinical Audiologist will collaborate with speech therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, participate in aural rehabilitation programs, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and contribute to preventive health initiatives and community outreach activities.
Qualifications
- Candidate should possess strong Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing skills, including hearing assessments, device fitting, programming, and follow-up care.
- Candidate should possess skills in Speech and Speech Therapy to support communication needs in collaboration with other clinical specialists.
- Candidate should possess Aural Rehabilitation skills, including counseling, auditory training, and communication strategy development for diverse age groups.
- Candidate should have a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Audiology or Speech and Hearing, with applicable professional licensure/registration as required.
- Candidate should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ethical clinical practice, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Candidate should be comfortable using clinical software and digital health tools; prior experience in preventive or community healthcare settings is an advantage.
