Role Description This full-time, on-site Clinical Audiologist role is based in Bengaluru and involves providing comprehensive audiological and related therapeutic services to patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting diagnostic hearing assessments, interpreting test results, and developing individualized care plans. The Clinical Audiologist will perform aural rehabilitation, manage hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, and follow-up care, and offer counseling to patients and families regarding hearing health. The role also involves close collaboration with speech therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and contributing to patient education initiatives. The clinician will support Bridge Health’s integrated care model by coordinating services across physical and digital platforms to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Audiology, including comprehensive hearing assessments, differential diagnosis, and patient counseling.
- Skills in Aural Rehabilitation, including auditory training, communication strategies, and long-term hearing management.
- Experience with Hearing Aid Dispensing, including selection, fitting, programming, troubleshooting, and follow-up support.
- Knowledge of Speech and Speech Therapy principles sufficient to collaborate effectively with speech-language professionals.
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in Audiology or Hearing, with appropriate licensing or registration as required.
- Prior clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or multidisciplinary healthcare setting; experience in preventive or community health is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage empathetically with patients of varied ages and backgrounds.
- Comfort with digital health tools, electronic medical records, and telehealth platforms, and ability to adapt to evolving clinical technologies.
- Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
