Role Description The Scholarship Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Jalgaon, responsible for supporting the administration of student scholarship programs. Day-to-day tasks include receiving and reviewing scholarship applications, verifying documentation, maintaining accurate records, and updating scholarship databases. The role involves coordinating with students, faculty, and administrative staff to provide clear information on eligibility criteria, deadlines, and application status. The scholarship clerk will prepare reports, assist with scholarship disbursement processes, and ensure compliance with institutional policies and relevant regulations. This position requires consistent attention to detail, timely processing of paperwork, and a strong focus on delivering supportive and professional service to all applicants.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including accurate data entry, record keeping, and document management.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, database tools) and comfort working with digital records and portals.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain scholarship procedures clearly and respond to student and staff inquiries professionally.
- Attention to detail and basic analytical abilities for verifying eligibility, checking documentation, and preparing summary reports.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in all scholarship-related matters.
- Customer-service orientation, with a supportive and respectful approach to working with a diverse student population.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline; experience in educational administration, finance, or clerical roles is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Jalgaon and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the institution.
