Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for structural analysis and design related to Active LED installations, including assessing building integrity and proposing strengthening solutions where needed. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design calculations and drawings, conducting site inspections and structural audits, coordinating with project managers and fabrication teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and local regulations. The role involves preparing technical reports for structural stability, supporting documentation for certified approvals, and monitoring construction quality and safety at project sites. The Civil Engineer will collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and authorities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply structural principles to building and support systems.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on planning and execution of construction or installation projects, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of Planning for structural projects, including material selection, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Understanding of Stormwater Management and related site infrastructure considerations for safe and durable installations.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with relevant Indian Standards (IS codes), structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS), and CAD tools.
- Proven ability to conduct site inspections, prepare technical reports, and liaise with local authorities for approvals.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality in on-site work.
- Prior experience in structural audits, strengthening, or façade/LED installations is an advantage.
