Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Drafter architectural design role based in the Pune Division. The Civil Drafter will prepare detailed architectural and civil drawings, plans, and layouts for municipal projects, including buildings, public facilities, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include translating design concepts into technical drawings, updating and revising plans based on feedback, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and PMC guidelines. The role involves close coordination with civil engineers, architects, and project managers, as well as maintaining organized drawing records and documentation. The Civil Drafter will also support site-related documentation and contribute to design reviews to ensure accuracy, safety, and constructability.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Drafting and Civil Engineering Design for architectural and infrastructure projects.
- Strong Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings skills for detailed plans, sections, and elevations.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and related drafting tools.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of local building codes, municipal standards, and basic structural and architectural principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural documents, and to work accurately with measurements and scales.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Prior experience with public sector or municipal projects is an advantage.
