Role Description The Chief Financial Officer for Canada Opportunities is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada. This role will lead financial strategy and governance for business units aligned with Canada-focused operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. On a day-to-day basis, the CFO will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, manage financial reporting cycles, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The position involves analyzing financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and presenting insights to senior leadership to support decision-making and growth initiatives. The CFO will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage relationships with financial institutions and auditors, and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial management.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to interpret, prepare, and present accurate reports to stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to assess financial performance, evaluate risks, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent are highly beneficial.
- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within services, consulting, or professional firms.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to guide and develop finance teams.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and support strategic initiatives related to international operations.
