Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chef Cook role based in Coimbatore. The Chef Cook will be responsible for planning and preparing daily menus, cooking a variety of dishes, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation. The role includes managing kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and monitoring food quality and safety. The Chef Cook will handle inventory of ingredients, support cost-effective use of supplies, and coordinate with team members to ensure timely meal service. The role may also involve developing new recipes, adapting dishes to dietary requirements, and supporting special events or client meetings as needed.
SALARY : 30K STARTS - 1LAKH
FOR FRESHER : 20K STARTS
Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills, including knowledge of regional and international cuisines and experience in meal planning and preparation.
- Ability to maintain high kitchen hygiene standards, follow food safety regulations, and manage cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
- Experience in kitchen operations, including inventory management, portion control, and efficient use of ingredients.
- Good time management skills with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver meals on schedule.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with colleagues and respond to feedback from stakeholders.
- Prior experience as a cook or chef in a professional kitchen; hospitality or culinary certification is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Coimbatore and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or holidays as required.
