Role Description The Chartered Accountant will work full time on-site in Gurugram and be responsible for managing the company’s financial accounting, reporting, and compliance activities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledgers, and ensuring timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities. The role involves handling tax computations and filings, monitoring statutory compliance, and liaising with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders. The Chartered Accountant will support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, providing analysis and insights to management for decision-making. The role also includes implementing and maintaining internal controls, improving accounting processes, and supporting senior leadership with ad hoc financial reports and analyses.
Qualifications
- Should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong foundation in financial accounting, reporting standards, and compliance.
- Should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
- Should have experience in direct and indirect taxation, statutory filings, and liaison with auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Should be proficient in accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic ERP tools, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Should demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Should have clear and professional communication skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience in corporate or manufacturing/industrial accounting environments will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, ethical, and compliant work culture.
