Role:
Responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the Menswear category through effective category planning, product assortment, pricing, inventory management, and market analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales and margin targets.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities.
- Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute category initiatives.
- Monitor category performance and recommend business improvements.
- Enhance customer experience through data-driven category decision.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of category management and apparel retail (menswear).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and retail ERP/category management tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability.
Education & professional skillset:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Desired experience:
- 3 - 6 years of experience in Category Management within the apparel retail industry.
- Experience in the Menswear category will be preferred.
