🚀 We're Hiring: Assistant Manager – Pricing & Promotions | Sumosave | Kolkata

This is a rare opportunity to own Pricing & Promotions for a retailer in hypergrowth mode — the kind of role where your decisions directly move the needle on margins, promotions, and store performance across an expanding network. As we scale, this role scales with you, with a clear runway to grow into larger category and commercial leadership positions.
🔑 What You'll Own
• Plan, create, and execute store-wise promotions across our growing network (vendor-funded, self-funded, liquidation & marketing-led offers)
• Manage end-to-end pricing accuracy and margin compliance across SKUs, stores, and formats
• Dive into negative-margin analysis, competitor pricing, and corrective pricing strategy
• Build dashboards and MIS reports that power leadership decisions (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query & more)
• Partner closely with category, purchase, marketing, and store teams — plus vendors — to keep execution sharp and audit-ready
✅ What You Bring
• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in pricing, promotions, MIS, retail operations, or category support
• Strong Excel skills and a sharp commercial/analytical mindset
• Experience in grocery retail/FMCG retail preferred; familiarity with ERP/POS systems like Wondersoft is a plus
• Comfort working with large datasets, tight deadlines, and multiple stakeholders
