Role Description
The Calibration Manager is responsible for overseeing calibration activities and ensuring that all medical devices and related electrical systems meet regulatory, safety, and performance standards. This full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad includes planning and scheduling calibration work, supervising technicians, and maintaining accurate documentation and certificates for all calibrated equipment. The Calibration Manager will develop and implement calibration procedures, coordinate with service and engineering teams, and support audits and compliance requirements. The role also involves analyzing calibration data, identifying recurring issues, driving corrective actions, and working closely with operations to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Requirements
1. Oversee PAN India Calibration and QA Operations
2. Ensure compliance with NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) standards
3. Manage Quality Assurance (QA) systems and NABL/AERB Audits
4. Lead and guide regional teams and technical staff.
5. Ensure adherence to AERB regulations
6. Monitor performance, KPIs, and operational efficiency
7. Handle documentation, accreditation processes & audits
8. Drive continuous improvement in calibration practices
9. Lead and oversee all calibration activities across North and South India zones.
10. Provide strategic direction to Deputy Managers and ensure uniform implementation of SOPs.
11. Monitor workload distribution, turnaround time TAT, and service quality across regions.
12. Ensure uninterrupted service delivery for hospitals, diagnostics, and healthcare institutions
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 10 years of experience and Mandatory 5 years’ experience in Managerial role.
- Experience as Technical Manager (NABL – ISO/IEC 17025)
- Strong knowledge of Calibration & QA processes
- Familiar with NABL & AERB compliance requirements
