We are a well established Chartered Accountant firm based in Kottayam, committed to delivering high-quality audit, taxation, advisory, and compliance services across diverse industries. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CA Inter / CA Finalist to join our team as an Audit Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and supervise statutory, internal, tax, and concurrent audits.
- Lead audit assignments independently and manage audit teams effectively.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Auditing Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws, and other statutory regulations.
- Identify control weaknesses, operational risks, and recommend practical improvements.
- Prepare audit reports, management letters, and presentations for clients.
- Handle GST, Income Tax, TDS, and ROC compliance assignments.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor article assistants and junior team members.
- Ensure timely completion of assignments while maintaining the firm's quality standards.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- CA Inter qualified or CA Finalist.
- 2–5 years of experience in audit and taxation within a Chartered Accountant firm.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Statutory Audit
- Internal Audit
- Income Tax
- GST
- TDS Compliance
- Companies Act and MCA filings
- Working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally Prime and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for audit assignments within Kerala when required.
