Role Description The Business Head at JANAK INFRA is a full-time, on-site role based in Head Office Surat, responsible for leading overall business operations, strategy, and growth for the organization. The role includes overseeing project portfolios, setting business targets, and ensuring alignment between operational execution, financial performance, and strategic priorities. The Business Head will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business plans, improve processes, and drive profitability while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards. Daily responsibilities involve monitoring project progress, managing key client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing guidance to cross-functional teams. The role also includes budget oversight, risk management, performance tracking, and reporting, as well as mentoring managers and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
B.E Civil
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding multi-disciplinary teams and senior managers.
- Proven expertise in business strategy, planning, and execution within construction, infrastructure, or related engineering sectors.
- Solid background in project management, with the ability to oversee multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, revenue planning, and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards related to quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and contract management.
- Ability to drive business development, identify market opportunities, and build long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role within the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make informed decisions under time and resource constraints.
