Role Description The Business Insurance Specialist role is a full-time remote position focused on advising business clients on appropriate insurance products and risk management strategies. In this role, the specialist will assess client needs, analyze risk exposure, and recommend suitable coverage options across multiple lines of business insurance. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing insurance proposals, coordinating with insurance carriers, managing policy renewals, and supporting claims-related inquiries. The specialist will respond to client questions, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience. This role requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, including business lines such as property, liability, cyber, and specialty coverage.
- Solid understanding of Finance principles relevant to risk assessment, premiums, coverage limits, and business continuity planning.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and build trust with diverse clients.
- Proven Customer Service capabilities, including responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Relevant professional certifications in insurance or risk management are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field preferred.
- Comfort with remote work tools, CRM systems, and digital documentation processes.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines concurrently.
