About Co-Worker Technology
Co-Worker Technology helps companies find specialist talent through recruitment and consulting services. With operations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and India, we combine local market presence with an international recruitment network. We support clients across technology, IT, engineering and other specialist business functions, providing talent for permanent employment and consulting assignments.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced business development/Sales professional who enjoys speaking with international clients and building relationships through proactive telephone outreach. Your main responsibility will be to initiate conversations with HR/Engineering and/or IT department managers in the Nordic market. You will shortly introduce Co-Worker Technology, understand potential clients’ current or future staffing needs, and explore whether our services could be relevant.
A significant part of your working day will involve outbound calls and follow-up conversations. You must be comfortable communicating in professional English with decision-makers in a friendly, respectful and natural manner.
Key responsibilities
- Identify relevant companies and decision-makers using company-provided leads and your own research.
- Make outbound calls to introduce Co-Worker Technology and explore potential recruitment or consulting needs.
- Explain who we are, how we work and how our services may support the client.
- Ask relevant questions, listen carefully and establish whether there is a genuine business opportunity.
- Follow up consistently with contacts by phone and email.
- Keep contact details, conversations and follow-up activities accurately recorded in the CRM.
- Plan your daily work independently and participate in regular progress meetings.
- Work towards agreed activity and quality targets while representing the company professionally.
- Work closely with our Client Manager
Essential requirements
- Substantial experience in outbound B2B sales, business development or telephone-based lead generation involving international clients.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with clear delivery and the ability to hold confident, professional conversations.
- Proven ability to contact managers and senior decision-makers, open a conversation and maintain interest without being pushy.
- Confidence making regular outbound calls, handling objections politely and following up professionally.
- A friendly, humble and attentive communication style, with strong listening skills.
- Strong self-discipline, reliability and work ethic, with the ability to work independently from home.
- Experience using a CRM and maintaining accurate records.
- Access to a suitable computer, reliable broadband and a quiet, professional workspace for calls.
- Availability to work agreed hours aligned with Nordic business hours.
Preferred experience
- Experience contacting Global businesses.
- Previous sales experience within recruitment, staffing, consulting, IT or engineering services is a plus, not a must.
What we provide
- Company-funded business calling software and subscription.
- A suitable headset for professional calls.
- Introduction to our services, target markets and approach to client conversations.
- Access to relevant sales tools, company information and lead resources.
- Ongoing support and collaboration with the Nordic Account Manager.
What success looks like
Success means creating relevant client conversations, identifying genuine needs, maintaining thoughtful follow-up and arranging useful meetings for our Nordic team. We value both consistent activity and the quality of the relationships you build.
