Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and result-driven
Sales Manager to lead our water treatment chemicals sales. The candidate must have a proven track record in
industrial chemical sales and should be capable of developing new business, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify and acquire new clients in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, textiles, power plants, and process industries.
- Manage and grow existing client relationships with consistent follow-ups and value-driven solutions.
- Conduct site visits, understand customer requirements, and recommend suitable chemical treatment programs.
- Work closely with the technical/service team to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Undergraduate degree (Science, Engineering, or related field preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in chemical sales (mandatory).
- Prior experience in water treatment chemicals or related industrial chemicals is required.
- Strong business development skills with proven sales achievements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as lead a small sales team.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
