Role Description
We are looking for energetic, confident, and target-oriented Business Development Associates to expand our presence across Vijayawada and surrounding areas.
This is a full-time, on-site and field-based role. The Business Development Associate will identify new institutional collaboration opportunities, visit colleges and educational institutions, interact with HODs, faculty members, placement officers, and college management, and promote Academy of Tech Masters’ workshops, hackathons, seminars, training programs, and technology events.
The associate will also conduct market research, generate and qualify leads, deliver professional presentations, coordinate proposals and follow-ups, and maintain accurate records of institutional interactions and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Visit colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
Meet and communicate with HODs, faculty members, placement officers, and college management.
Identify and qualify new institutional partnership and event opportunities.
Promote and coordinate workshops, hackathons, seminars, technology events, and training programs.
Conduct market research to understand institutional requirements, student interests, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Generate leads through field visits, calls, meetings, networking, and referrals.
Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to prospective institutional partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges, student communities, and technology networks.
Support proposal preparation, negotiations, follow-ups, and institutional onboarding.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the smooth planning and execution of confirmed events.
Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, follow-ups, and opportunities using CRM or tracking tools.
Contribute to organizational sales, event, collaboration, and market-expansion targets.
Represent Academy of Tech Masters professionally at meetings, college visits, and events.
Qualifications and Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create and deliver professional presentations to prospective institutional partners.
Lead-generation skills, including identifying prospects, qualifying opportunities, and managing outreach.
Market-research skills to analyze trends, competitor activities, institutions, and target segments.
Confidence in interacting with HODs, faculty members, placement officers, and college management.
Comfortable with travelling, fieldwork, meetings, and institutional visits.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, operations, and event-management teams.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Management, or a related field is preferred.
Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Prior experience in sales, business development, field marketing, education marketing, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
Freshers with strong communication, presentation, and networking skills are encouraged to apply.
