Role Description The Business Architect role at Cogentix Systems is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Business Architect will map and design business architectures that align strategy, processes, information, and technology with organizational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing current business processes, defining target operating models, documenting business capabilities, and identifying optimization opportunities across the software development lifecycle. The role involves gathering and translating business requirements into clear, actionable designs, collaborating with product and technology teams, and supporting stakeholders with decision-making through structured analysis and documentation. The Business Architect will also help ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and consistent with the company’s mission to simplify software development.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Business Architecture, including designing business capability maps and aligning processes with strategic objectives.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying patterns, and supporting evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience in defining and optimizing Business Processes, including workflow modeling and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to capture, structure, and prioritize Business Requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with stakeholder needs.
- Proficiency in Business Analysis techniques, such as stakeholder analysis, gap analysis, and use case or user story development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, TOGAF) are a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in software development or technology-driven environments and familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and engage with stakeholders in person on a regular basis.
