About Ripik.AI
Ripik.AI is an Accel-backed Applied AI company building computer vision and process-optimisation agents for the world's largest industrial enterprises across steel, cement, aluminium, chemicals, pharma, and power. Our Vision AI platform acts as an automated pair of eyes on the shop floor — monitoring materials, equipment, and processes 24/7 with 95%+ accuracy, eliminating human error, and delivering measurable gains in throughput, yield, energy efficiency, and safety.
We work with marquee customers including Tata Steel, JSW, ArcelorMittal, Vedanta, Godrej & Boyce, Grasim, Holcim, and Jindal Steel, and are scaling globally across India, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. As we move into our next phase of growth, we are building the operating backbone that will take Ripik from a high-velocity scale-up to a category-defining global industrial AI company.
The Role
This is a role for someone who loves numbers, builds beautiful dashboards, and finds the story hidden inside messy data. As a Business Analyst at Ripik.AI, you'll be the analytical engine behind our leadership team — turning raw data from sales, product, operations, and customer deployments into dashboards, reports, and analyses that shape how we run the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain business dashboards for sales, marketing, operations, product, and finance — the ones leadership uses to run the company.
- Own the weekly and monthly business reviews — prepare the reports, run the numbers, spot the variances, and flag what matters before the review.
- Run quantitative analysis — cohort analysis, funnel breakdowns, unit economics, KPI trend investigation, and anything else the business needs answered with data.
- Automate manual reports — turn recurring Excel work into repeatable, error-proof processes using formulas, Power Query, macros, or BI tools.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to translate business questions into structured data problems — and answers into clear recommendations.
- Build clean data foundations — define metrics, source-of-truth reports, and reusable data pipelines that the whole team can trust.
- Prepare technical documentation - to support Product Delivery and Customer Success team. Ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and aligned with business requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong quantitative background — an Honours degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or another quantitative field. From a top-tier college — SRCC/ LSR/ St. Stephen
- 0–2 years of experience — fresh graduates and early-career candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Internship experience in analytics, consulting, or finance is a plus.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical instincts — comfortable with numbers, percentages, ratios, and simple statistics. You spot a wrong number in a spreadsheet before others do.
- Advanced Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH, complex nested formulas, Power Query, conditional formatting, chart design. Macros or VBA is a bonus.
- Dashboard-building experience — you've built dashboards in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, Looker, or Google Data Studio that others actually used.
- Openness to travel if required.
Nice to Have
- Technical - exposure to latest technological tools and their working (Martech Tools, AI tools etc.)
- Financial modelling exposure — unit economics, cohort economics, or simple forecasting.
- Statistical analysis — A/B testing, hypothesis testing, or basic regression.
- Curiosity about industrial AI — you don't need domain knowledge, but you're excited to build it.
What can you expect?
- Ability to shape the future of manufacturing by leveraging best-in-class AI and software; we are a unique organization with niche skill set that you would also develop while working with us
- World class work culture, coaching and development
- Mentoring from highly experienced leadership from world class companies (refer to Ripik.AI website for details)
- International exposure
