Role Description The BOQ Engineer at Rekha Interiors will prepare and manage detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for interior design and execution projects in the Pune Division. This full-time, on-site role includes quantifying materials and finishes from drawings, coordinating with designers and project managers, and ensuring accurate cost estimates and budgets. The BOQ Engineer will review architectural and interior plans, verify measurements on site, and update BOQs based on design changes and client feedback. The role also involves collaborating with vendors and contractors for rate analysis, tracking material consumption against BOQs, and supporting timely procurement decisions. The BOQ Engineer will maintain organized documentation, contribute to project cost control, and support smooth project delivery aligned with Rekha Interiors’ quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in quantity surveying and BOQ preparation, including material take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and interior design drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Experience with cost estimation, rate analysis, budgeting, and basic project cost control in interior or construction projects.
- Working knowledge of relevant software tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design tools is an advantage).
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to maintain clear, organized documentation and reports.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with designers, project managers, contractors, and vendors.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; prior experience in interior fit-out or construction BOQs is preferred.
