Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Autocad Drafter role based in South 24 Parganas. The Autocad Drafter will prepare and revise detailed technical drawings, including architectural layouts and shop drawings, using AutoCAD and related drafting tools. Daily responsibilities include interpreting design specifications, coordinating with architects and engineers, ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards, and maintaining organized drawing documentation. The role also involves updating drawings based on feedback, assisting in design reviews, and supporting project teams with accurate and timely drafting deliverables.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for engineering and construction projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architectural Drawings and Architecture to accurately translate design concepts into detailed plans.
- Candidates should possess experience creating and modifying Shop Drawings for fabrication and site execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D; 3D is a plus) and familiarity with other CAD or BIM tools.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans, codes, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in drafting, and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
