Role Description The Audit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode. The person in this position oversees audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, supervising audit teams, assessing internal controls, and identifying areas of risk and improvement for clients. The Audit Manager coordinates with clients to gather information, address queries, and present audit findings and recommendations clearly. This role also involves mentoring team members, monitoring engagement timelines, and supporting the development of audit methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Financial Statements and ability to review and interpret them accurately.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess financial data, identify trends, and evaluate risks.
- Solid foundation in Finance and Accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience conducting Financial Audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in managing audit teams and multiple client engagements.
- Proficiency with audit and accounting software and strong Excel skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues.
- Commitment to ethical practices, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
