Job details:
This is NOT a sales job.
Well... it is. But it's also strategy, storytelling, networking, relationship building, problem solving, and occasionally convincing a client that their first idea wasn't their best idea.
At popter+ part of (POPter Media Network) we work at the intersection of brands, creators, celebrities, influencers, AI-led content, production, and marketing. Every brief is different, every day looks different, and every conversation has the potential to become a campaign that people remember.
We're looking for an Associate Manager – Business Development & Client Partnerships who can open doors, build relationships, understand briefs, and eventually own accounts with confidence.
What You'll Do
• Generate and nurture B2B leads across brands, agencies, startups, and enterprise clients.
• Reach out through LinkedIn, emails, calls, and networking to create new business opportunities.
• Understand client objectives and translate them into actionable creative and marketing briefs.
• Work closely with the celebrity, influencer, creative, and production teams to build compelling proposals.
• Participate in pitches, presentations, and strategy discussions.
• Build long-term relationships and transition seamlessly from business development to client servicing.
• Manage campaign communication, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across influencer marketing, celebrity partnerships, production, and AI-powered content solutions.
• Maintain sales pipelines, reports, and forecasting with high ownership.
You're Probably a Great Fit If You
• Have 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, partnerships, media, advertising, influencer marketing, or integrated marketing.
• Can confidently walk into a room and start a conversation.
• Love building relationships more than sending generic sales emails.
• Are equally comfortable discussing revenue targets and creative ideas.
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Are organized, proactive, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
• Believe that “that's not my job” isn't part of a startup vocabulary.
Bonus Points
• Experience in advertising, digital marketing, influencer marketing, celebrity management, media, or production.
• Existing agency or brand relationships.
• Love for content, social media, and pop culture.
• Ability to think commercially while appreciating creativity.
What You'll Get
• A front-row seat to campaigns featuring celebrities, creators, and brands.
• Exposure to AI-first content production and modern marketing solutions.
• An opportunity to work with a young, collaborative, and ambitious team.
• Freedom to own ideas, clients, and growth.
• A role where your network and creativity matter as much as your numbers.
If you're someone who enjoys building relationships, closing deals, and then staying around to make sure the magic actually happens, we'd love to meet you.
