Associate Director / Director – Manufacturing & Steel

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Associate Director / Director to lead and transform our manufacturing and steel business toward an “Engineered to Lead” vision.
The role will focus on high-precision manufacturing, operational excellence, global supply chain management, and business growth across precision components, bright bars, forgings, and DIN 4 gears.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead overall manufacturing and business operations across steel and engineered components.
* Develop and execute strategies to improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and profitability.
* Drive the company’s transition toward high-value, engineered manufacturing.
* Oversee production of high-precision components, bright bars, forgings, and DIN 4 gears.
* Build and strengthen global supply-chain capabilities, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and vendor management.
* Develop relationships with global customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
* Identify new markets, business opportunities, and avenues for international growth.
* Establish strong systems for quality control, process improvement, and operational performance.
* Lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, procurement, quality, sales, and supply chain.
* Monitor key business and operational metrics and take corrective actions when required.
* Drive continuous improvement, automation, technology adoption, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and safety practices.
* Develop and mentor senior management and operational teams.
Ideal Candidate
* 12+ years of experience in steel, manufacturing, engineering components, automotive, forging, or precision manufacturing.
* Strong leadership experience in a senior management/director-level role.
* Proven experience managing manufacturing operations and large-scale supply chains.
* Strong understanding of steel products, precision components, forgings, bright bars, or gears.
* Experience working with international customers and global supply chains is highly preferred.
* Strong commercial, strategic, and operational decision-making skills.
* Ability to build teams, manage stakeholders, and drive organizational transformation.
* Strong understanding of cost management, quality, productivity, and profitability.
* Engineering or technical degree preferred; MBA/management qualification is an advantage.
