Institute Description GOENKA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, LACHHMANGARH, SIKAR is a higher education institution located along the Sikar–Lachhmangarh Road (NH-52) in Rajasthan, India. Role Description The Assistant Professor (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) will be responsible for delivering lectures and practical sessions in pharmaceutical chemistry and related subjects, including physical chemistry, to undergraduate and/or postgraduate pharmacy learners. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing course materials, supervising laboratory work, assessing learner performance, and maintaining academic records. The role involves guiding learners in research projects, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental meetings and academic committees. The Assistant Professor will also engage in scholarly activities, such as publishing research and attending conferences or workshops. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Jaipur Area, requiring regular presence on campus for teaching, mentoring, and collaborative work.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong subject knowledge in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
- Candidates should possess skills in Physical Chemistry and related analytical or laboratory techniques.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Physics to support interdisciplinary teaching in pharmaceutical sciences.
- Candidates should possess experience in Curriculum Development and academic planning for pharmacy programs.
- Candidates should possess Research skills, including study design, data analysis, and scientific writing.
- Postgraduate degree (M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related specialization) from a recognized institution; Ph.D. or pursuit of Ph.D. is preferred.
- Prior teaching or academic experience in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences is beneficial.
- Effective communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic community.
Experience:
2-5 years of teaching experience in a PCI approved institute at Diploma/UG level
