About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking Assistant Professor to join our Information Technology / Computer Science department. The ideal candidate combines strong academic grounding with hands-on technical expertise, and is genuinely invested in helping students grow — in the classroom, in the lab, and beyond. You'll teach core CS/IT subjects, mentor students on real projects, and help shape a curriculum that keeps pace with the industry.

What You'll Do
- Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions for UG/PG students.
- Build lesson plans, course material, assignments, and assessments aligned with curriculum goals.
- Guide students through academic projects, internships, hackathons, and technical competitions.
- Conduct exams and maintain accurate academic records per institutional norms.
- Contribute to curriculum design, accreditation processes, and departmental planning.
- Organize technical workshops, seminars, and coding events to boost student engagement.
- Keep your own knowledge current — new frameworks, tools, and industry practices.
- Take part in research, publications, and faculty development programs.
- Uphold academic integrity and a high standard of classroom conduct.
What We're Looking For
- Solid grasp of CS/IT fundamentals — both theory and application.
- Strong command of DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Data Structures, and Software Engineering.
- Comfortable running both lecture-style and hands-on lab sessions.
- Clear communicator with good classroom presence and management.
- Familiarity with LMS tools and modern teaching methods.
- A research mindset and ability to write clearly (papers, reports, documentation) is a plus.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in CS, IT, MCA, M.Tech, or a closely related field.
- 3–5 years of teaching experience at a college, institute, or university.
- Industry experience is a strong plus.
- Ph.D. holders will be given preference.
