Role Description The Assistant Professor of Business Analytics will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business analytics, including subjects such as Business Analytics , Data analytics , Business Analysis tools etc. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, designing assignments and examinations, mentoring students, and guiding projects and internships. The role also involves conducting research, publishing in academic journals, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental and university committees. The Assistant Professor will engage in academic advising, support co-curricular activities, and collaborate with industry and academic partners to keep course content aligned with current practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based at MGM University in Aurangabad.
Qualifications
- PG Degree preferably MBA with specialization in Business Analytics and or MCA , Computer Science , Information Technology Graduate.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in University Teaching and Training, with experience facilitating interactive, learner-centered classrooms.
- Demonstrated ability to work with analytical tools and software (e.g., Excel, R, Python, SPSS, or similar) and apply them in teaching and research.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners.
- Experience in academic administration, student mentoring, and contribution to departmental activities is desirable.
- Prior teaching or industry experience in business analytics, data-driven decision-making, or related fields will be considered an advantage.
