Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) located at GGI in Khanna. The Assistant Professor will teach undergraduate courses in CSE, prepare lesson plans, deliver lectures, conduct tutorials and practical labs, and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects. The role includes curriculum development, updating course content to reflect current technologies and industry trends, and guiding students in academic and technical projects. The faculty member will engage in research, publications, and academic activities, participate in departmental and institutional committees, and contribute to student mentoring, workshops, and seminars. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and support accreditation and quality assurance processes is also expected.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (M.Tech/M.E) in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline; Ph.D. or ongoing doctoral work is preferred.
- Strong foundation in core CSE areas such as programming, data structures, algorithms, computer networks, operating systems, databases, and software engineering.
- Ability to design and deliver structured lectures, hands-on lab sessions, and project-based learning experiences.
- Experience or interest in research, publishing in academic journals or conferences, and guiding student projects.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a diverse student body and support learner-centered pedagogy.
- Familiarity with outcome-based education, academic assessment, and continuous quality improvement in higher education.
- Competence with modern educational technologies, learning management systems, and basic data/office tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in academic teams and participate constructively in departmental and institutional activities.
- Industry exposure, certifications in relevant technologies, or prior teaching experience at the college or university level are advantageous.
