Assistant Product Manager – Oncology & Transplant
Location: Gurgaon
Department: Marketing – Specialized Business
Reporting To: GM – Marketing (Specialized Business)
About the Role
Support the growth and commercialization of the Oncology and Transplant diagnostics portfolio by assisting in product strategy, market development, scientific marketing, product launches, sales enablement, and KOL engagement. Work closely with Sales, Technical HODs, and Business Development teams to drive business growth and Dr adoption.
Responsibilities
- Product Management
- Support end-to-end product lifecycle management for Oncology and Transplant diagnostic portfolios.
- Assist in planning and executing new product launches.
- Monitor product performance and recommend portfolio improvements.
- Coordinate with laboratory, operations, and sales teams for successful product implementation.
- Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and pricing analysis.
- Track emerging technologies, clinical guidelines, and market trends.
- Identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
- Scientific Marketing
- Develop scientific marketing materials including brochures, presentations, product manuals, FAQs, and sales tools.
- Create product positioning, value propositions, and competitive differentiation documents.
- Support digital campaigns, CMEs, webinars, conferences, and promotional activities.
- Sales Enablement
- Conduct product training for Sales, Business Development, and Customer Support teams.
- Provide scientific and technical support during customer interactions.
- Assist in developing sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- KOL & Customer Engagement
- Support Key Opinion Leader (KOL) identification and engagement.
- Coordinate scientific meetings, advisory boards, webinars, and educational initiatives.
- Gather customer feedback and translate insights into product improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with R&D, Bioinformatics, Laboratory Operations, Quality and Commercial teams.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners for marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Ensure timely execution of product-related projects.
- Business Analytics
- Prepare monthly product performance reports, sales dashboards, and ROI analyses.
- Track product KPIs, revenue, market share, and campaign effectiveness.
- Support forecasting, inventory planning, and business reviews.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy, or related discipline.
- MBA (Marketing) preferred.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years in Product Management, Scientific Marketing, or Business Development within Diagnostics, Genomics, Molecular Diagnostics, or Healthcare.
- Experience in Oncology and/or Transplant diagnostics is preferred.
